This delicious little white has me thinking about summer and seafood. Perfect pairing to mussels or scallops and at an exceptional price. These intriguing whites are made from the grape Melon de Borgougne in the Loire Valley in France. The 2010 Domaine du Haut Borg Muscadet is bright, medium bodied white wine with notes of apple and citrus complimented by a minerality that makes it the perfect food partner, particularly to any sort of seafood dish. A great one to keep on the back burner for those summer nights out on the patio with just the right meal. At under $15 a bottle its a steal.
