A few beautiful weather days and we are enjoying the last few farmers markets and the fall harvest – what better way than with Local Apple Sangria!

We used Gala apples, but feel free to substitute – great way to end a weekend of apple picking and pumpkin patch visiting!

Local Apple Sangria

3-4 apples, sliced (if you can get them local or pick them yourself, even better!)

1 Cup Apple Juice

1 Cup Cranberry – Apple Juice

1/2 Cup Calvados (apple brandy) or regular brandy

2 bottles dry white wine (Pinot Grigio/Sauvignon Blanc – we actually used Owl House White, an inexpensive white blend that was perfect and only $8)

1 can seltzer

Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher – refrigerate until ready to serve!
